On March 1, 2005 the Murrieta City Council cancelled the regular meeting on May 3, 2005 due to the Murrieta Special Municipal Election.

On April 19, 2005 the Murrieta City Council scheduled a meeting on May 10, 2005, beginning with a budget workshop at 5:00 p.m. to be followed at 7:00 p.m. by an (adjourned) regular meeting.
